Reminder: November 2023 Webinar: Student Veterans: Understanding the Culture, Promoting Wellness, and Preventing Suicide

Join the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health on November 15th, 2023, from 12:00pm-1:00pm EST for the OPCSMH November 2023 webinar, Student Veterans: Understanding the Culture, Promoting Wellness, and Preventing Suicide. Many veterans struggle to adjust as they return to life as a civilian, being a college student just adds another complex layer to that stressful period of life. David Edwards, M.S., Air Force Veteran, Adjunct Professor, Veterans Health Certificate Program, Ohio University will discuss the challenging aspects of being a military veteran, as well as help non-veterans try to understand what many veterans go through in their lives that may lead to them considering suicide, and how campuses can support the mental health of their student veterans.
