A Message of Hope

Thank you for your partnership and ongoing dedication to promote mental health and prevent suicide.

The Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health invites you to participate in a meaningful suicide prevention campaign for Suicide Prevention Month this September. Our goal is to fill our social media feed with messages of hope and solidarity, reminding everyone that suicide prevention is a year-round commitment.

We want to hear from you!  We are asking you to take a photo of yourself holding a sign with a powerful suicide prevention quote, saying or phrase. If you are not interested or comfortable with submitting a photo of yourself, we still would love your participation by summiting a message of hope!

We will compile these photos and/or messages and share them throughout September with the intention of increasing awareness and creating a powerful visual representation of hope. Whether you choose to share a short phrase or longer quote, we welcome your creativity and personal touch. For example, you may choose a phrase such as "you matter" or a quote such as, "Soak up the views. Take in the bad weather and the good weather. You are not the storm."- Matt Haig." Below, you will find an example of what we are requesting from you!
