Good morning, stakeholders,

Honoring National Physician Suicide Awareness Day - Suicide Messaging Dos and Don'ts

September 17th marks National Physician Suicide Awareness Day. As a helping profession, it's important to remember to take care of oneself and practice selfcare. It's also crucial to know how to discuss suicide, whether it be with a peer, family member, patient, etc. When discussing suicide, the language we use is important! The OPCSMH created a few graphics to help with the dos and don'ts. Let us know if there are any other suicide messaging tips we can share with the community!
