Good morning and Happy Friday stakeholders,
October Webinar: Supporting and Engaging Students with Accommodation Needs
Join the OPCSMH on October 16th, 2024, from 12:00PM-1:00PM EST as we are joined by Amanda, Feaster, Ph.D., Director of Student Accessibility Services, Kent State University to discuss the importance of Supporting and Engaging Students with Accommodation Needs. More than 20% of college students may qualify for accommodations, so a crucial part of supporting college students is understanding the resources available to accommodate mental, physical, and learning conditions. This webinar will discuss the various reasons why students might need accommodations, how students actually get accommodations, and what you need to know to support those students while they navigate the accommodation process.
