Members of the LGBTQIA+ community are twice as likely as non-LGBTQIA+ individuals to have a mental health condition and to experience mental health disparities, even though they are more likely to use mental health services. Many forms of stigma, discrimination, and bias contribute to mental health challenges among members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
